Continues your own footage
The extension starts from the last frames of your clip, so the same subjects, place and light carry on. Choose Veo 3.1 Fast for one unbroken shot, or H3 for a follow-on shot from a new angle.

Real results
The same 8-second clip, extended once by each model with the same instruction: the whale glides past the coral and swims off into deep water as small fish scatter. These are unedited outputs from October 4, 2026; the new footage starts at 0:08. Veo 3.1 Fast keeps the same shot rolling, while both H3 models continue from a new camera angle.
How it works
MP4 or MOV, 2–60 seconds, up to 50 MB. The workspace checks the length and size before anything is charged.
H3 Max Turbo and H3 Max add 5, 10 or 15 seconds. Veo 3.1 Fast adds 7 seconds. Describe what happens next.
Check the exact credit price, start, and download the extended MP4 when it is ready. Credits come back if a job fails.
What you get
AI Video Extender continues an existing video instead of starting from scratch. The model reads the last moments of your clip, keeps the same subjects and setting, and generates new footage that follows on: Veo 3.1 Fast carries the same shot forward, while the H3 models usually continue with a new camera angle, like the next shot in an edit. You get one MP4: your original clip with the extension joined to the end.
The extension starts from the last frames of your clip, so the same subjects, place and light carry on. Choose Veo 3.1 Fast for one unbroken shot, or H3 for a follow-on shot from a new angle.
Describe the next action in plain words, or leave the box empty and the model simply continues the scene.
You download a single video: your original clip followed by the new seconds, at 768p, 720p or 1080p depending on the model.
Know before you upload
The three models trade cost, length and style of continuation. All of them start from the end of your own footage; they differ in how much they add, which clips they accept and whether they keep the same shot or move to a new angle.
Pricing
You pay in credits for the seconds you add, never for the length of your original clip. The exact price is shown after upload and before anything is charged, and credits are returned if a job fails. Each job rounds up to whole credits. New accounts get 6 free credits.

Questions
An AI video extender adds new footage to the end of an existing clip. Instead of generating a video from a prompt alone, the model studies how your clip ends and continues it, keeping the same scene, subjects and camera movement.
Sign in, upload your clip to the AI video extender at the top of this page, choose a model and how many seconds to add, and optionally describe what happens next. The exact credit price is shown before you start. When the job finishes, download the extended MP4.
MP4 or MOV, 2–60 seconds, up to 50 MB, at least 256 pixels on each side and no wider than 5:2 or taller than 2:5. H3 Max Turbo and H3 Max accept any such clip. Veo 3.1 Fast needs a 16:9 or 9:16 clip at 720p or 1080p.
H3 Max Turbo and H3 Max add 5, 10 or 15 seconds per job. Veo 3.1 Fast adds 7 seconds. To go further, extend the result again: each job continues from the end of the video you upload.
Choose Veo 3.1 Fast when the extension should look like the same shot simply kept rolling; it adds 7 seconds and accepts 16:9 or 9:16 clips at 720p or 1080p. Choose H3 Max Turbo or H3 Max when a follow-on shot is fine: in our tests both usually continued the scene from a new camera angle. H3 Max Turbo is the cheapest and fastest, and H3 Max is MiniMax’s full model at twice the rate. The side-by-side examples on this page show all three on the same clip.
Your original soundtrack stays on the original part. All three models also generate sound for the added seconds, matched to what happens on screen. If you do not want it, mute or replace the audio in your editor.
In credits per added second, by model and output size: H3 Max Turbo 1.2 at 768p and 2.2 at 1080p, H3 Max 2.2 and 4.2, and Veo 3.1 Fast 4. Each job rounds up to whole credits, so a 5-second H3 Max Turbo extension at 768p costs 6 credits. Your original clip is not charged. New accounts get 6 free credits, enough for that first extension. Credits are returned if a job fails.
